Halloween Guidance from the State of Illinois Department of Public Health

Trick-or-Treating in the Village of Richmond will take place on October 31st during the hours of 1 pm to 5 pm.

Halloween Etiquette
Homes that would not like to participate are encouraged to keep porch lights off. Please respect this signal that no candy is available this year.

Conversely, if you would like to participate this year, keep those lights on!

The Village of Elk Grove has been kind enough to share their great trick-or-treat signs for homeowners to download for display as well:

Trick-Or-Treaters Welcome!
No Trick-Or-Treaters, Please!

A limited quantity of both signs will be available at the Village Hall.

Stay safe everyone!
