I was just driving through Richmond on the way to a work event. I’ve never been in Richmond and I was just hungry. This restaurant caught my eye, and on a whim I just decided to eat here.

I’m very glad that I did! Really tasty local beers and an excellent atmosphere pairs very well with a healthy portion of very good food. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I’ll be able to stop by on the way back to the Chicago airport.

I liked the open air bar with views of the street (it’s a very vibrant small town), and I can imagine there’s some pretty good entertainment hosted here at times. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, the price was right, and the food was good-what is there to critique?

A hidden gem! Romantic dinner for two or a fun family dinning experience with a seaside theme and exquisite dinning. The staff was excellent and checked on us often enough but not too much: refreshing service! Our waitress Taylor was great and went the extra mile by replacing the cherry on my mermaids water that my husband beat me to. I ordered the Mediterranean Sea Bass which was full of flavor and my husband had the pork chops which he was happy with. The Broadway potatoes (see pic) was a delightful twist to the baked potato. I am not much of a baked potato person, this was better. The cheese, garlic, olive oil and spices were perfect. Overall a really great dinning experience!

Great old school breakfast joint! The staff is very kind and the food is good, just needed a little salt and pepper. We got the country fried steak and a custom omelette – we loved both! We love restaurants like this, they always make us feel warm and welcome. We will be coming regularly.

Papa Saverio’s in Richmond, IL really “hits the spot” as far as pizza and Italian food go! Dinner salad was so fresh with homemade house Italian dressing that you’d like to take a bottle home with. Spaghetti sauce was full flavor in generous portion, with shavings of fresh parmesan cheese on top. Their tiramisu is the best I’ve had anywhere. Staff is fast, friendly and willing to please. The best part is no wait to be seated!
